Shrikant Gents Parlour

Our shop is Shop No 1 on Chetak Ghoda Road in Shiv Shankar Colony. It is a busy part of Aurangabad, especially since we are quite close to Hotel Sayali. Most people use that as a landmark when they are looking for us for the first time. The shop isn't very large, just enough space for the barber chairs and a small bench for waiting. I started working here because the area needed a place where men could just get a quick cut without any fuss. The road outside is always full of bikes and people walking to the market. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the clippers or the radio playing some old songs in the background. We have a lot of regular customers from the colony who have been coming since they were kids. Now they bring their own sons. I try to keep everything clean, but it’s hard with hair flying around all day and the dust from the road. The walls have a few posters that have been there for years. We don’t have an air conditioner, just a big ceiling fan that works hard in the summer heat. It is a simple business. I open the shutters early, sweep the floor, and wait for the first person to walk in. It’s a steady routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We just do the work and stay part of the neighborhood without making any big fuss.
