Samarth Gents Saloon

Samarth Gents Saloon is located at Shop No 1 in Nike Nagar, right by Deolali Chowk. We’re sitting just off the Beed By Pass Road here in Aurangabad, which means we get a lot of travelers as well as locals. The 431005 area has been changing a lot lately with more traffic and new buildings popping up. I’ve had this shop for a while now, and it’s a simple operation. It’s mostly just me and my chairs. I don't believe in having a lot of fancy gadgets that just break down anyway. I prefer to use my traditional tools to give people the look they want. Most mornings I’m here before the sun is fully up, getting the shop ready and making sure the towels are clean. People around Deolali Chowk know us as the place where you can get a quick, honest haircut without any trouble. Sometimes we have a radio playing some old songs, and the customers like to hum along while I work. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit tight when there are three or four people waiting, but we manage just fine. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. If you do a good job, people tell their friends, and that’s how we’ve kept going all these years. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and I enjoy meeting the different people who stop by while they're passing through.
