Sairam Gents Parlour

This shop is right on the Arihant Nagar Main Road in the Balaji Nagar area of Aurangabad. We are very close to the Jain Mandir, which is helpful because people always know where that is. It’s a decent-sized place for a gents' parlour. I’ve lived in this part of town for a long time, so I know most of the families around here. The shop has the basic setup, three chairs, big mirrors, and the usual tools we use every day. It’s nothing like those expensive salons in the big shopping centers. People come here because it’s convenient and they know they can just sit down and get their hair trimmed or a shave without waiting for hours. On festival days or before weddings in the colony, it gets really packed. We end up working late into the night sometimes. The tea stall next door is where I get my chai three times a day, and sometimes the customers join me while they wait. The floor is tiled but shows its age a bit. We don't spend much on decorations because the focus is just on the work. The main road is always noisy, but once you’re inside, you get used to it. I like being in Balaji Nagar. It’s a friendly place and everyone helps each other out. That is just how we run things here, day in and day out, keeping it simple for the local people who live nearby.
