Omsai Gents Saloon

Omsai Gents Saloon is at Shop Number 2 on Patthan Road. We are in the Satara Parisar area of Aurangabad, near Veetkheda Gajanan Nagri. It’s a growing part of town. We set up shop here because there weren’t many places for men to get a haircut around this road. It’s a basic saloon. We have the standard chairs and a couple of clippers. We do haircuts and shaves for the men who live around here. Sometimes kids come in with their dads. It’s a simple life. We spend most of our day standing on our feet, but we don’t mind. The shop is small, so it gets warm in the summer. We have a small TV that’s usually on some news channel or cricket match. People like to sit and watch while they wait. We don’t take appointments; you just show up and wait your turn. The floor gets covered in hair by mid-afternoon, but we sweep it up when we can. We’ve got a good relationship with the other shop owners on Patthan Road. It’s a nice community. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Aurangabad. We just want to do a decent job so people come back next month. That’s about it.
