New Swagat Gents Parlour

I am usually found at New Swagat Gents Parlour here in the city of Aurangabad. We are located right on Mil Corner Road in the Khadkeshwar neighborhood. Most of our customers find us easily because we are situated exactly opposite Hotel Johar. It is a pretty good spot to be for a business like ours. I have been cutting hair in this same neighborhood for a very long time now. The shop itself is not very big, just a couple of old chairs and some large mirrors on the walls. It tends to get very crowded on Sunday mornings when every man in the area wants a shave and a haircut before the new week starts. We usually have the television on, mostly playing the news or a cricket match if there is one going on that day. It is just a simple gents parlour. We do not do anything very complicated or modern. Most of the men who come in here just want their usual trim and nothing else. I have come to know most of their names and their families by now. Being so close to Mil Corner Road means there is always some kind of noise or activity going on right outside the door. The sound from the street comes inside but you eventually get used to it. The chairs are the old-fashioned kind that can lean all the way back for a proper shave. I make sure to keep my tools clean and sharp every single day for the next person.
