New Amol Gents Parlour

You’ll find New Amol Gents Parlour over at Silver Heights in the Moti Karanja area. We are situated on Mondha Road here in Aurangabad. It’s a solid location because there’s always a lot going on in this part of the city. The shop itself is pretty straightforward and easy to find. I have a couple of chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years and big mirrors that I try to keep clean every day. The building, Silver Heights, is well-known, so people don’t usually have trouble finding where we are located. I start my work early, usually before the heat of the day really kicks in. The street outside is full of other shops and people moving about, so there is always something to look at through the open door. Most of the men who come in are regulars from the Mondha Road area. They come for their usual cut and we talk about the local news or how their families are doing. It’s a relaxed environment, nothing fancy or overpriced for the neighborhood. I handle everything myself, from the hair cutting to the cleaning up at night. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting for their turn, but everyone just grabs a seat and waits. It’s a simple way of living and working. I’ve got my tools lined up on the counter and everything is ready for the day.
