Neet Niwas Beauty Parlour

Neet Niwas Beauty Parlour is located at Plot No 6 in Sangita Colony, which is in the Aurangabad area, not too far from Nadanvan Colony. We run this place right out of a section of the house, so it doesn't feel like those cold, corporate shops you find in the city center. It’s a bit more personal here. My sister and I handle most of the work ourselves. We started doing this because we realized there weren't many places for women in Sangita Colony to go for basic things like threading or a simple haircut without having to take a rickshaw across town. We have a couple of chairs and a good amount of light coming in from the front window. It’s a quiet neighborhood mostly, except for when the kids are playing outside. We keep a variety of threads and some basic skin creams on the shelves. Often, the ladies from the nearby houses will come by just to chat for a bit while they get their eyebrows done. We don't have any fancy posters or big advertisements. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors. It gets a little hectic during the local festival times or when there’s a wedding in the colony, but usually, it’s a steady pace. We try to keep the place tidy and welcoming for everyone. It’s a simple setup that works for us and our neighbors here in Aurangabad.
