Mauli Gents Parlour

Our shop is a bit hidden because it’s in the underground part of Tirumala Complex. It’s in Jawahar Colony, right near Swati Furniture. If you’re looking for it, you have to go down the stairs from the main level. It stays a bit cooler down there during the Aurangabad summers, which is nice for us and the customers who are escaping the heat. We only do hair and grooming for men. It’s a small space, nothing fancy at all. We have the usual barber chairs and some old pictures on the walls to look at. Most of our regulars are guys from the colony who have been coming to us for years and years. They know exactly where to find us. We don't really do appointments, you just show up and see who is already in the chair. Sometimes we sit and chat while waiting for the next person to come down the stairs. It’s a quiet spot away from the noise of the main road above us. We keep our razors sharp and the towels as clean as we can every day. It’s not the most modern place in the world, but it’s reliable for a good cut. We’ve been in this basement spot for quite a long time now. People come for a simple cut or a shave and then go about their day. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do.
