Leebarti Gents Parlour

You can find Leebarti Gents Parlour over on Aurangpura Road in Aurangabad. We are quite close to S.B. High School, so we get a lot of students coming in after their classes are done for the day. It’s a busy street with plenty of motorcycles and people moving about. The shop has been here for a while now. It is just a regular men's parlour where you can get a trim or a clean shave. We don't have any of those modern machines, just good scissors and razors. The building is older, but it stays fairly cool even when the sun is beating down on Aurangpura. I usually sit out front on a stool when there are no customers. You get to see a lot of familiar faces that way. Some of the teachers from the school also drop by occasionally. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news or a cricket match if one is playing. The walls have a few posters of different hairstyles, though most men just ask for the same thing they always get. It’s a quiet life most days, apart from the noise of the traffic outside. We make sure the towels are washed every day and the floor is kept clear of hair. It is just a practical place for the men in this part of Maharashtra to come and look a bit more presentable.
