Friends Beauty Parlour

Friends Beauty Parlour is situated in the Aurangabad Ho area, specifically near Pawan Ganesh Chowk in Narali Baug. It is a busy little corner of the city. We chose the name Friends because that is how we wanted the place to feel when you walk in. It is not a corporate salon with uniforms and cold greetings. It is just a place in the neighborhood where women can come and feel comfortable. We have a few chairs and some basic equipment for facials and hair work. The shop is located in a spot that gets a lot of foot traffic from people going to the Ganesh temple nearby. Sometimes you can hear the bells from the chowk while you are inside working. The interior is simple, maybe a bit cluttered with bottles and towels, but it feels more like a home than a shop. We spend a lot of time talking to the ladies who come in. We hear about their families, their kids, and the local news. It makes the day go by much faster. In Narali Baug, everyone kind of knows everyone else. We don't try to be something we are not. We just offer basic beauty work for a price that people can afford. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we make it work for us. It is our little space in Aurangabad, and we are happy to be part of the community here for all these years.
