Ambassador Ajanta

If you’re looking for us, we are located at the Ambassador Ajanta Hotel on Cidco Jalna Road in Aurangabad. Saurabh Mathur is the EAM here, and he’s usually around the property making sure things aren't falling apart. Maharashtra can get really hot, so a lot of our day is spent making sure the AC is running and the guests are comfortable. It’s a big place on Jalna Road, and there’s always something that needs fixing or someone who needs help with their luggage. We’ve got a mix of staff here, some who have been in Aurangabad their whole lives and others who came here for work. We don't really do the corporate talk. We just try to make sure that when someone stays here, they have a clean bed and a hot meal. The lobby is often busy with people checking in or out, and the kitchen is always a bit chaotic during breakfast time. We’ve seen all sorts of people come through these doors over the years. Some days are smoother than others, like when a big event is happening and we’re all running around like crazy. It’s a lot of work to keep a place like this going, but we just take it one shift at a time. It’s a real hotel with real problems and real solutions, and we’re just the people who work here.
