It’s mostly just us here in the Tikamgarh area. Devindra’s place is where we handle most of the day-to-day things for Gorashbundelkhand Farmer Producer Company Limited. We deal with the usual things like seeds, the changing weather, and those really long days during the peak season. We are just local folks trying to keep the farming work moving forward. It gets incredibly busy during the sowing months. We often end up sharing tools and giving each other advice when someone’s equipment gets stuck in the mud. Sometimes the government paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, but that's just part of the job now. We meet up at Vijron to figure out what needs to be done next. There is always something breaking down or needing a quick fix before the sun goes down. We don’t have a big office with cool air conditioning. It’s just a simple desk and a few old chairs where we sit and discuss the latest market prices. It’s hard work, but we’ve lived here forever. We know this land.
