We are located over on 2nd Street in Anjugam Nagar, right in the Jafferkhan Pet area. The address is 33/34 for anyone trying to find the gate. Running a building materials business involves a lot of logistics, especially when you are dealing with stuff coming from mines. It’s heavy, it’s messy, and there’s always something that needs to be loaded onto a truck. We’ve been at this for some time now. The office part is usually full of paperwork because of all the regulations and transport logs we have to keep track of. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it has to happen. Outside in the yard, it’s a different story. There is always noise and movement. We supply things that people actually use to build their homes or fix up roads, so there is a bit of pride in knowing that. Jafferkhan Pet is a busy spot, and our street gets quite a bit of traffic with the lorries coming and going. We try to keep things orderly, but with gravel and sand and stone, it’s hard to stay perfectly clean. Most of us here have been doing this kind of work for years. We know the materials and we know what works for different types of construction. It’s just honest work. We show up, handle the loads, and keep the business running. Every morning we start early to beat the heat, and by evening the yard is usually looking pretty different from how it started.
