Zaara Hardware

If you have ever walked down Prakasam Salai in Broadway, you know how packed it gets. Zaara Hardware is right there at 120/168. It is a tight squeeze in this part of Chennai, but we make it work. Our shelves are crammed with everything from tiny screws to heavy-duty tools. It’s the kind of place where you have to know exactly where everything is, or you’ll spend all day looking for one specific bolt. The morning starts with the shutters going up and the smell of the city hitting you. We get a lot of people who come in looking for something very specific that they can't find anywhere else. Sometimes we have to dig through boxes in the back to find what they need. Broadway has a history of being the place for hardware, and we are glad to be part of that long line of shops. We don't do much in the way of advertising because people just know we are here. The street outside is always full of cycles, carts, and people rushing somewhere. Inside, it’s a bit calmer, though we are usually busy helping someone figure out what size pipe fitting they need. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pen and paper are still the best way to keep track of a sale. It is just a regular hardware store trying to help the locals get their repairs finished without spending too much.
