Vin Hair

Vin Hair is located at No 45 on Big Street in Triplicane. We are directly opposite the church, which makes it easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this part of Chennai. Triplicane is an old area with lots of history, and Big Street is always full of bikes and people walking to the temple or the beach. Our shop is a straightforward place for hair services. We have a few chairs and big mirrors where we spend the day cutting and styling hair. It is not a fancy place with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and wait for a chair to open up. We keep the floor swept because hair gets everywhere very fast. The breeze from the fan helps with the humidity, but on some days, it is just plain hot. We see a lot of students from the nearby hostels and men who work in the small shops around here. Sometimes we have the TV on with the news or a cricket match playing quietly. We use standard scissors and clippers that we've had for a long time. It is a routine that doesn't change much from day to day. We open up in the morning, say hello to the neighbors, and start working. There is a small tea stall next door, and the smell of ginger tea often drifts into the shop while we are working.
