Fashion Hair Styles is a local spot located at No. 18/2 in Veerpandi Nagar. We are right on 1st Street in Choolaimedu. This neighborhood is where we’ve set up shop, and we’ve been here for a good amount of time now. It’s a basic place, nothing like those expensive salons you see in the malls. We just have our chairs, our mirrors, and the tools we need to do our work. Most of our regulars are people who live just a few blocks away. They come in, we talk about the news or the weather, and we get to work. It’s a simple routine that we’ve followed for years. Choolaimedu can get pretty crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out running errands. We usually keep the door open to let a bit of a breeze in, and you can hear the sounds of the street while we work. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just cut hair and make sure people look decent when they leave. Sometimes it’s busy and there’s a wait, and other times it’s just us sitting around waiting for the next person to walk through the door. We handle everything ourselves, from sweeping the floor to managing the schedule. It’s just a regular local business run by people who know the area well. That’s really all there is to Fashion Hair Styles. We just keep at it every day without much fuss.
