Puvin Bridal Services

You can find us at No. 12/47 on Karumaariamman Koil Street in Thulasingapuram. We are right in the Saint Thomas Mount area. Puvin Bridal Services is mostly just me and a couple of assistants helping women get ready for their weddings or other big events. The shop is quite small and it is usually filled with mirrors, hairbrushes, and lots of different makeup kits. It can get very busy on weekend mornings when we have several people waiting their turn in the chairs. We are not a high-end salon with expensive furniture and soft music playing. It is more of a friendly local place where people come because they know our faces. We do hair styling, saree draping, and makeup. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked if there is a festival at the local temple, so we have to tell our clients to park a bit further away. We have been doing this for several years now. Most of our customers come to us because their sisters or friends had a good experience here. We do not have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just use our hands and try to do a decent job with the tools we have. It is a lot of standing and long hours, but it is nice to see people looking happy when they leave.
