Vijaya Health Centre

We have been here at No 175 on NSK Salai in Vadapalani for quite a long time now. If you know the area, you know how busy this stretch gets with all the traffic and people moving around the temple and the shops nearby. Our doors open early every morning because there is always something to do or someone needing help with their health. It is not a very fancy place, but we keep things running as well as we can. The building has seen many years, and the waiting area stays pretty full most days of the week. Most of the staff here live nearby, so they walk or take a quick auto to get to work. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy outside on the road, but inside we just keep going with our usual routines. We handle a lot of different cases, from small things to more serious stuff that requires staying over. It is a bit noisy outside because of the main road, but that is just how Vadapalani is. People from all over the neighborhood come by because they know where we are. We don't have a lot of big signs or anything, just the usual boards. It's a lot of hard work every day, and by the evening, everyone is quite tired but we come back the next day to do it all again. It's just a regular part of life here on Salai.
