We are located at No 15 on 2nd Street in Mgr Nagar. It’s a handy spot in Velacheri, right near the big water tank which everyone uses as a landmark. Being here means we are right in the middle of a lot of houses and people going about their business. We start our day when most people are still asleep, getting the dough ready or starting the first pots of rice. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. The area around the water tank is always active, so there’s a lot of noise and movement outside our doors. We just focus on the cooking. Inside, it’s all about the routine. Someone handles the vegetables, someone else is at the stove. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we have to be careful with how we move around. It's a simple life, really. We see the same faces walking by every day. Some of the regulars stop in to say hello while we are working. We don't spend money on big ads because we'd rather just spend that time in the kitchen. The heat in the kitchen can be tough in the summers, but we just get on with it. We make sure the containers are packed and ready for whenever they need to go out. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right in Velacheri.
