Vels Health Clinic

Our clinic, Vels Health Clinic, is at No 30/73 on Arya Gowda Road in West Mambalam. This part of West Mambalam is always crowded. There are shops everywhere and the traffic on Arya Gowda Road never seems to stop. We are just a small clinic squeezed in among the other businesses. The space inside is quite narrow. We have a tiny waiting area with a few old chairs. Most of the people who come to see us are locals from the nearby streets. We handle things like blood tests, sugar checks, and general medicine. It is a very basic setup. We have a small fan that spins on the ceiling and a desk for the doctor. The noise from the street is always there in the background. You can hear the buses and the auto-rickshaws honking all day long. We keep our records in big paper files that are stacked up on shelves. It is not a high-tech place at all. We know many of our patients by their names because they have been coming here for years. It is a neighborhood spot in West Mambalam. We open the shutters in the morning and close them late at night. There is nothing fancy about what we do. We just provide a place for people to get their health checked while they are out doing their shopping on the road. It is just a part of the local scene.
