V V Clinic is on the Main Road in Kamaraj Nagar, Avadi. Being on the main road means we get a lot of people just walking in because they saw the sign. It’s a high-traffic area with lots of buses and autos zooming by all day long. The clinic itself is at No-150. It is a straightforward medical spot where we see people for their general health issues. We have a small desk for registration and a couple of rooms for consultations. It’s often quite dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we try to keep the inside as clean as possible. We see a lot of families from around Avadi. Usually, the evenings are the busiest time when people finish their jobs. We have a simple bench for waiting. There are no fancy magazines or TVs in the lobby. Most people just chat with each other while they wait. The doctor has been here for a good amount of time and knows the common problems people in this area face. We keep a stock of basic medicines and supplies. It is a no-frills place. We just focus on seeing the patients and giving them the help they need for their coughs or fevers. It’s a community clinic that has become a part of the daily life on Kamaraj Nagar Main Road in Avadin.
