V S Basheer

You can find me, V S Basheer, over at No 67/31 on P M Darga Main Street in Triplicane. This area, Krishnampet, is always crowded and full of life. My place is just a small setup in the middle of all that. I've been working from here for quite some time now. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. It’s more of a traditional space where I handle my daily business. There’s a lot of history in these streets and I feel like a part of it. I usually start my day early before the sun gets too hot. The shop gets a lot of dust from the main road, so I'm always wiping down the desk. I deal with various things depending on what people need that day. Most of my customers are regulars who live nearby or have been coming to me for years. We talk about the news or the weather while we finish up our work. I don't use any fancy software to keep track of things; it's mostly just a ledger and my memory. Sometimes the street gets so loud I have to shout to be heard, but that’s just Triplicane for you. It’s a grounded way of living. I don't have a team of people working for me, it's mostly just me doing what I know how to do. I’ve been around here so long that the building feels like a second home to me.
