V L Traders

V L Traders is located at 225, Th Road in Tiruvottiyur. If you’ve ever been on Th Road, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of the city. There’s always a mix of buses, bikes, and people moving around. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We open up early and stay late most nights. The front of the place is usually piled with whatever stock came in that morning. It’s dusty work, and we spend a lot of time moving things around to make space. The fans overhead never seem to go fast enough in the heat. We’ve got a small counter where we talk to customers and write down orders in our ledgers. We still use pen and paper for a lot of things because it’s faster than the old computer we have in the back. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us during a long shift. Tiruvottiyur has a specific feel to it, very industrial and fast-paced. We’ve been in this building for years, and the stairs are starting to show their age. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily trading. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic. Other days, we don't even have time to sit down. That’s just the way it is on Th Road.
