Sri Lakshmi Earth Movers

Sri Lakshmi Earth Movers is over at 37, A.G.S. Colony, on the 3rd Main Road. This is in the Kottivakkam area, near Thiruvanmiyur. It is a residential-feeling spot for an earth moving business, but we have been here at number 37 for quite some time. The 3rd Main Road is usually quiet until we start up one of the machines. Kottivakkam is a good place to be based because we can get to different parts of Thiruvanmiyur pretty easily. Our days are filled with dirt, engines, and the sound of hydraulics. We keep the equipment in good shape, or at least we try to. There is always a leak to fix or a part to grease up. The office side of things is just a small room where we keep the logs and the keys. It is a family-style environment where everyone knows each other. We do not go in for fancy talk; we just talk about where the next load of earth needs to go. Sometimes the coastal air from the Thiruvanmiyur side makes the metal rust faster, so we have to stay on top of the maintenance. It is hard work and the sun can be brutal out on the sites. We are just a group of people at A.G.S. Colony trying to do a decent job with the machines we have. It is nothing more complicated than that. We just focus on the digging and getting the equipment where it needs to be.
