V Care Event Management

We set up V Care Event Management over on V O C Street in Pallikaranai. We are right across from the Panchayat Office, which makes us pretty easy to find if you're in the neighborhood. It’s number 18. The office is where we keep all our notes and schedules. Planning events can be a bit chaotic, so this is our home base to keep things straight. It’s not a glamorous space. We have boxes of supplies and stacks of papers everywhere. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to people. Sometimes it feels like we’re never off the clock, but that’s just how this kind of work goes. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to get things moving. We’ve done all sorts of things over the years. We don't talk ourselves up too much. We just show up and do what’s needed. The street outside can be noisy with people going to the government office, but we don't mind. It feels like we're in the middle of things. We drink a lot of coffee while we try to figure out the logistics for the next week. It’s a lot of lists and checking things twice. We just want to make sure things happen correctly. Pallikaranai is a growing area, and we’re happy to have our little corner here to work from. Everyone knows where the Panchayat Office is, so we don't have to give complicated directions. Our office floor is usually covered in samples of fabrics or pictures of different setups.
