Our workshop for Universal Coach Interiors L L P is at 6/26 Pillaiyar Koil Street in Vadapalani. If you know the area, you know it can be a bit tight with the traffic and the small lanes. We do all the work on bus interiors right here. It is a lot of stitching, fitting seats, and making sure the inside of a coach looks decent for the passengers. There is usually the sound of sewing machines or someone hammering something into place. It’s a messy job with scraps of fabric and foam everywhere, but that’s how you know we are actually working. Vadapalani is a busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We have a few guys who have been doing this for years and they know exactly how to fit a ceiling panel or a seat cover without much fuss. We don’t have a big showroom; we just have the space where the work happens. People bring their vehicles to us and we get to it. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. The street is named after the temple, and it’s a landmark everyone around here knows. We aren't doing anything fancy, just solid work on the coaches that come through. It’s a local business and we like being part of this neighborhood. Sometimes the work takes longer than we thought, but we try to get it done.
