Unique Salon

Unique Salon is situated in the Ioa Complex on Rayapettah High Road. We are on the ground floor of the Pratap Singh Building, which is No 69. It’s quite near the Deccan Plaza Hotel, so that’s a good landmark to look for if you’re coming to see us. We’ve been here in Royapettah for some time now. The salon is just a practical space for haircuts and other grooming needs. We don't really go for anything too fancy or expensive in terms of decor. It’s more about having a clean place where people can come in and get what they need done without a fuss. Being in a complex means there’s always people coming and going. We get a lot of locals from around the Chennai area. It’s a small team of us working here most days. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just open the doors and help whoever walks in. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s quiet. We prefer it when there’s a bit of a buzz in the shop. The ground floor location makes it easy for anyone to just pop in. We try to be helpful and do a decent job with the scissors and combs. If you are near the Deccan Plaza, we are just a short walk away. Just a regular salon doing its thing day in and day out.
