Our office is tucked away in the Bharatham Apartments on Bharathi Street. You have to head up to the second floor, Flat A2, to find Ultiweb Technologies Private Limited. West Mambalam is a bit of a maze if you aren't from around Chennai, but it’s where we’ve settled. It's not a glass skyscraper or anything like that. It’s a regular apartment where we’ve set up our computers and workstations. We spend most of our time dealing with tech issues and building things for the internet. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb when it's hot out, but the AC works well enough once you get inside. We have a small team, and we all know each other pretty well by now. There’s no big reception desk or people in uniforms waiting for you. It’s just us working. We started doing this because we had some skills with technology and people started asking us for help. Now it’s what we do every day from morning until the evening. The neighborhood is quiet enough, though you hear the usual city sounds coming through the windows. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes there are stacks of papers or extra monitors sitting around. It’s a practical space for practical work. If you're looking for us, just look for No. 12 on the street. It is a basic setup that suits us just fine for the kind of work we do.
