Ultimate Cine Music Orchestra

If you walk down Periya Maliyabbaan Street in Royapettah, you might hear us before you see us. We are located at No 3/2, not far from Vishal Textile. Music is what we do at Ultimate Cine Music Orchestra, but it’s more like a craft than a performance for us. We spend a lot of hours practicing and getting the sounds right. It’s a loud place sometimes, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We focus on cinema music because that is what people in Chennai love. It’s the heartbeat of the city. We aren't trying to be world-famous stars. We just want to play good music that makes people feel something at their events. Our instruments are well-used and we take care of them. The team is made up of musicians who have been playing since they were kids. There’s a lot of history in this room. We don't have a big marketing budget or a public relations person. Our work speaks for itself when we are on stage. We just pack up our gear, head to the venue, and play our hearts out. Royapettah is a great place to be based because it is central and has so much character. Being in the 600014 area keeps us close to the action. We just keep our heads down and keep playing, making sure every note is where it should be for the people listening.
