If you’re looking for Turntableist D J Aarcell, we are over in Kilpauk. The office is actually in Flat No 412 at the Akash Ganga Apartments. It’s the 4th block on the 3rd floor, No 19 Flowers Road. It sounds like a lot of directions, but once you find the Dominos Pizza, we are right opposite that. We’re also behind the Sangam Theatre, so it’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of Chennai. It’s an apartment setup, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We have our equipment set up here and do a lot of our practice and prep work in the flat. Flowers Road gets busy, especially in the evenings with the cinema crowd nearby. We’ve been in Kilpauk for a good bit now. It’s a nice area with a lot of history. We aren't some huge agency with receptionists and suits. It’s just us and the music gear. Sometimes the neighbors might hear a bit of noise, but we try to keep it down during odd hours. We take our work seriously but we don’t feel the need to act like a big corporation. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through tracks or checking the speakers. It’s a straightforward way of working and it suits us just fine. We have some posters on the walls and cables everywhere, but it's how we work best. It's a real place for real work.
