Thurinji Food Products Private Limited

We operate out of an apartment building in Valasaravakkam. It’s Sri Nidhi Apts, No.118, on the first floor. Specifically F2 in the 2nd Street area of Chowdhry Nagar. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the food products we handle. We aren't a big factory. It’s more of a home-style setup where we get things ready. We have boxes stacked up in the hallway sometimes. The neighbors are patient with us, luckily. We mostly do packing and sorting here. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My cousin helps with the books and I handle the deliveries. We use a small van to get things around. Valasaravakkam traffic is a nightmare, so we try to leave early. We don't have a big sign outside. You just have to know which door to knock on. We started this because we liked making traditional snacks and it just grew from there. It’s not a fancy life. We spend a lot of time sealing bags and checking labels. Sometimes the printer jams and we all get annoyed. But we get it fixed eventually. It’s just us doing our thing. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food is clean and people like what they eat. That’s enough for us to keep going. We finish up late most nights and start again early. It keeps us out of trouble and helps us stay productive.
