National Petrochem

National Petrochem is located over at Plot No. 1 and 2 in Anna Nagar 4th Street. This is in the Thirumullaivoyal area. To find us, you just look for the Ambedkar Statue, as we are very near to that. It is a landmark everyone around here knows. The area is a mix of houses and small industrial plots. We work with various chemicals and petroleum-based products, so there is usually a distinct smell around the yard when you walk in. It isn't a place for people who mind a bit of grime on their shoes. The yard is paved but has some cracks where grass grows through. We spend our days moving drums and checking containers. Thirumullaivoyal is a bit out of the main city center, which gives us more room to move things around. Being near the Ambedkar Statue makes it easy for the drivers to find us when they are bringing in supplies or picking up orders. The office is just a small room at the front of the plot with a few chairs and a computer that has seen better days. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that, just work clothes that get dirty pretty fast. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little during the monsoon, but we carry on. It is a busy place, with people coming and going, checking manifests, and loading up the small trucks. It’s just us doing our thing.
