The Psychiatry Clinic

The Psychiatry Clinic is located at 73a Sabari Salai in Madipakkam. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We wanted a place that wasn't too loud or busy, so being on Sabari Salai works out well for us and the people who come to see us. It’s just a regular building where we sit down and talk with folks about what’s going on in their heads. We see people from all walks of life here in Madipakkam. Some are dealing with stress from work, and others have things that have been bothering them for years. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re in a high-rise office. It’s more about just having a quiet room where someone can listen. The walls might need a fresh coat of paint soon, and the chairs are just normal ones, but it serves the purpose. We manage our own schedule, so if we’re running a bit behind, it’s usually because a conversation needed a few more minutes. People mostly find us through word of mouth around the neighborhood. It’s a local clinic for real people, and we try to keep it that way. We don't have a big staff, so when you come in, you’re usually seeing the same faces every time. It’s just a straightforward place for mental health right here in the community. It can be a bit hard to find parking on the street sometimes, but we make it work.
