Tayyub Clinic

If you find yourself on Vadamalai St in Purasawalkam, you’ll probably see our sign for Tayyub Clinic at number 31. Chennai can be pretty intense with the heat, so we try to keep it cool inside, though it’s a constant battle with the front door opening and closing all the time. This isn’t a high-tech facility with robots or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward clinic where we see patients from the local area. Most of the folks who come in are regulars from the neighborhood. We know their families and what’s been going on with them lately. It feels more like a community spot than a stiff medical office sometimes. The furniture is a bit older, and the floor has seen better days, but it’s clean and it works for what we need to do. We spend most of our day looking at charts and talking to people about their health. There’s no big corporate office behind us, just us here on Vadamalai St. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or catchy slogans. We just try to get people sorted out so they can get back to their lives. It’s a busy street outside, but inside we just take it one person at a time. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s been working for us for a long time now, and we don't plan on changing it much. Everyone knows where to find us.
