Our office is on Valluvar Kottam High Road in Nungambakkam. It’s one of those places with two numbers, Old No. 319 and New No. 4, which sometimes confuses people trying to find us for the first time. The building is right in the middle of a very active part of town, so there is never a dull moment outside. Inside, we keep things fairly straightforward. We aren't here to impress anyone with a flashy lobby; we just have our desks and our computers and a lot of brochures about trade. Most of our day is spent answering emails and trying to connect people who want to do business. It can be a bit repetitive, but it’s the kind of work that needs doing. We have a small team here, and everyone pretty much knows what their job is without needing to be told every five minutes. The coffee isn't great, and the air conditioning can be a bit moody, but it’s a functional place to work. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon because we don't see the point in it. We’d rather just talk to people plainly and get things sorted. Nungambakkam is a great area to be in, even with the traffic, because it feels like the heart of the city's commercial life. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and have become part of the daily rhythm of the street. It’s just an office where we try to make things happen.
