Suriyaa Brick Block

Suriyaa Brick Block is located at No: 3/4 in Judge Colony, specifically on 1st Street in the Collector Garden area of Tambaram Sanitorium. It is a bit of a residential-sounding address, but we have our setup here for making blocks. We have been in this part of town for a while now. Most days start very early for us, before the sun gets too hot. We mix the cement and other materials and get the molds going. It is heavy work and it really wears you out by the end of the day. We do not have a big staff, just a few local guys who are good with their hands. We do not go in for any of that corporate stuff. There is no receptionist or fancy brochure. If you want to know about our blocks, you just come by and look at them. We might be covered in grey dust when you see us, but that is the nature of the job. Tambaram is a busy place, and we see a lot of people passing by our gate. We mostly deal with small-time builders or people who are doing their own renovations at home. We try to be helpful and give them what they need without any complications. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the day fixing a belt or a motor. It is just part of running a small business like this. We take the good days with the bad.
