Star Burst

If you are looking for us, we are at No 52/153 on Mettu Street in Ayanavaram. It’s a very local neighborhood, and we are situated quite close to Noor Hotel. Most days, you can smell the food cooking from there, which always makes us hungry before lunchtime even arrives. Mettu Street is fairly narrow, so parking a car can be a real headache, but there is always space for a bike. Our office at Star Burst is a simple room with a couple of fans spinning overhead. We have some old wooden desks and a few plastic chairs for visitors. The walls have a few calendars hanging on them to help us keep track of the days. It’s the kind of place where the door is usually left ajar so the neighbors can pop their heads in and say hello. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. There is a small sink in the corner and a cupboard where we keep our bags and coats. In the evenings, the street gets quite busy with people coming home from work and the local shops turning on their bright lights. We usually stay until late, finishing up whatever task is on the table. It’s a plain, honest workspace where we don’t worry about appearances. We just focus on the job and getting things out the door on time.
