Ssk Brick Works

You can find Ssk Brick Works at No:1, Main Road in Aarapakkam Village. We are pretty close to Veltech Engineering College, so there is always a lot of traffic and students moving around the Avadi area. Our spot on the Main Road makes it simple for deliveries to get in and out without much trouble. We spend most of our time out in the yard, making sure the bricks are drying right and getting stacked properly for the next load. It's noisy around here with the college nearby and the main road traffic, but you get used to it after a few weeks. The staff here at Ssk Brick Works are mostly locals from Aarapakkam. We know the land and we know the work quite well. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and keeps us busy. We don’t go in for fancy talk or big promises that we can't keep. If we have the bricks ready in the yard, we tell you. If we don’t, we tell you when they will be coming out of the kiln. We like to keep things straightforward with everyone. People from all over Avadi come by because we are easy to reach. Sometimes we get students from Veltech just walking past looking curious at how a brick is actually made. We just keep our heads down and work. It's been this way for years and we don't see any reason to change.
