Sri Raagam Sweet Melodys

Our address is No 22 Anna Pillai Street, right in the heart of Parrys. If you have ever been to Parrys, you know how loud and crowded it is every single day. We are tucked away in one of those busy buildings. Sri Raagam Sweet Melodys is basically run out of a couple of rooms where we keep all our musical gear and sound systems. There are wires and speakers everywhere, and we are always testing things to make sure they work right. The air in Parrys is always thick with the smell of spices and the sound of horns, so it is never really quiet here. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with different people and making sure the instruments are handled carefully. The stairs up to our place are a bit steep and narrow, which makes moving heavy speakers a real challenge. We don't have a fancy lobby or a secretary. Most of the time, we are just sitting on plastic chairs talking about what songs need to be practiced or checking the batteries in the microphones. It is a lot of hard work carrying things through the crowded streets to our van. We have been on Anna Pillai Street for a good while, so we are used to the chaos. It is just part of our daily routine to navigate the crowds and get our work done amidst all the noise of the market.
