Sri Lakshmi Plastics

You can find Sri Lakshmi Plastics at Plot No.6 on 6th Street in Shiva Sakthi Nagar, which is over in Korattur. We are located in a mainly residential part of town, so we get a lot of local folks walking in to buy things for their homes. We stock all the usual plastic items like water drums, storage bins, and kitchenware. The shop is on the ground floor of a regular building, and we have some of our bigger items displayed out front on the sidewalk. Korattur is a nice place to work, though it can get very humid during the middle of the day. We usually have the fan going full blast while we organize the shelves. It’s a small operation. Mostly run by family and a couple of helpers who live nearby. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just rely on people seeing our shop when they go to the market or head home. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains heavily, which can be a real headache for us. We spend a lot of time talking to the regular customers about what they need and trying to get those items in stock. It’s a humble business, and we are just happy to be a part of the local community in Shiva Sakthi Nagar. Every day is pretty much the same, but we like the routine of it and the people we meet.
