Sri Gokulam Clinic

Our clinic, Sri Gokulam Clinic, is located at 528 Dr. Ramaswamy Salai in K.K. Nagar. This is a pretty established part of the city, and the street we are on is usually lined with trees and parked cars. It’s a bit of a relief from the more frantic parts of town. The clinic itself is a straightforward place. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. A lot of our patients are older folks who have lived in K.K. Nagar for decades. They come in for their blood pressure checks or just to talk about a nagging pain. We’ve got a small desk at the front where we keep the register. The walls are a pale color that’s faded over time. It feels more like a home than a medical office sometimes. There’s a small patch of garden out front that we try to keep tidy, though the heat makes it difficult. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know the history of most people who walk through the door. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. The afternoons are usually quiet, which is when we catch up on all the paperwork. Then it picks up again in the evening. It’s a steady pace of life here on Dr. Ramaswamy Salai, and we like it that way.
