Sri Gayathri Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is right across from the Angalaman Koil on Anagalamman Koil Street. It’s a quiet spot most of the time except during the temple festivals when the whole street gets full of people. We have been at this Choolai address, number 48/102, for many years now. It’s more of a family-run kind of thing than a big business. We know most of the people who come in by their first names because they have been coming here since they were very young. We handle all the basic beauty needs like threading, simple hair trims, and facials for the local ladies. The shop isn't very large, so we just have a few chairs and some mirrors on the walls. We keep the floor swept and the towels washed every single day. You won’t find any big glowing signs or fancy lights here. It’s just a plain room where we do our daily work. Being near Kannappar Thidal makes it easy for people from around the area to reach us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or use a small light. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for whoever needs a trim or a wash. It’s a simple life for us. If you are visiting the temple, you’ll see us right there across the road. No need for any fancy appointments usually, just walk in.
