Sree Sayee Poly Clinic

Sree Sayee Poly Clinic is tucked away on Bheemasena Garden Road in Mylapore. It is a nice enough spot, right by Indrani Ammal. If you know the area, you know it has got that old Chennai feel with the narrow streets and plenty of trees. The clinic is at number 37. It is a modest place. We do not have a massive glass front or anything like that. It is more of a traditional setup where people come in when they are not feeling well. We see a lot of elderly folks from the neighborhood who have lived in Mylapore their whole lives. The waiting area has some old chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. We mostly handle general health issues, the kind of things that crop up in every household. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. The staff here has been around for a while, so we all know each other’s habits. We do not go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here on Bheemasena Garden Road. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up outside, but inside it stays relatively quiet. We keep our records in big paper files, and there is always a bit of a shuffle when we are looking for someone’s history. It is just a local clinic doing what it can for the people nearby. No frills, just regular daily work in the heart of Mylapore.
