Sree Balaji Clinic

Sree Balaji Clinic is at 124 Eldams Road in Teynampet, right opposite the Murugan Temple. It’s a very busy part of Chennai so there is always the sound of horns and buses outside. If you’re coming for a visit, the temple is the easiest thing to look for. Our clinic is just across the street. It’s a small space, tucked into the row of buildings there. We’ve been here a long time, watching Teynampet change around us. The walls inside are painted a simple off-white and we have some basic chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. It’s often quite full in the evenings after people get off work. We see a lot of local residents and even people who work in the offices nearby. The doctor has been practicing here for years so there's a lot of trust with the families in the area. We don't do anything flashy. It's just a place to come when you have a cold or need a regular checkup. The space is tight, so we try to keep the flow moving. Sometimes the incense from the temple across the road drifts in when the door opens. It’s a familiar routine for all of us. We just keep the register updated and make sure everyone gets seen. It’s just a regular neighborhood clinic on a very busy road.
