Spotlight Entertainments

Our place, Spotlight Entertainments, is found in the 600014 area of Chennai. It’s a lively neighborhood, and being here puts us right in the middle of all the action. We spend most of our time planning and putting together various bits of entertainment for local events. It isn't always glamorous work. There is a lot of heavy lifting, untangling cables, and making sure people are where they are supposed to be at the right time. We don't have a big, shiny corporate headquarters. Our space is more of a hub where we store gear and meet up to discuss the next project. We have a small crew that has been together for a while, and we all know how to handle the little problems that pop up during a live show. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the lights are on and the sound is clear. Sometimes things go wrong, like a fuse blowing or someone turning up late, but we just deal with it and keep going. We don't really have a marketing team writing stuff for us, so what you see is basically what you get. We are just a local group trying to make sure people have a good time when they come to an event we are part of. It’s a job we enjoy, even when it’s tiring and the schedule is all over the place. We just try to keep things moving forward and make sure the next show is ready.
