Our office is located on Manickam Lane, right off Mount Road in the Guindy area. It is a bit tucked away, near the Hotel Zen Garden. We have two numbers for the building, New No. 116 and Old No. 81, which tends to confuse the delivery drivers when they first come by. Basically, Smart Expos & Fairs (India) Pvt. Ltd. is where we sit and plan out various events and trade shows. It takes a lot of phone calls and a massive amount of paperwork to get these things moving in the right direction. The office is usually cluttered with floor plans, vendor lists, and stacks of name tags. We aren't doing anything flashy in the office itself, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks making sure the different parts of an expo come together properly. Some days are much quieter than others, especially when the whole team is out on-site at a venue setting up booths and talking to contractors. Guindy is a central spot for us, so it makes sense to stay put here. We deal with all sorts of different industries every month. One day we might be talking about heavy machinery and the next it is something like jewelry or textiles. It is just the way the trade fair business goes. We try to keep things organized but there is always some small thing that needs fixing.
