Skin & Std Clinic

We’ve been here on 17 Bazaar Road in Saidapet for quite a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the traffic outside and the people walking by the bazaar. It gets pretty loud during the afternoons, but you get used to it after a few years. People come in mostly because they’ve got something itching or a mark they don't like. We handle skin issues and also the more private stuff like STDs, which sometimes makes people a bit nervous when they first walk in. The waiting room isn’t huge, just some chairs and a fan that clicks a bit when it’s on high. I usually spend my morning checking the supplies and making sure the files are in order. Saidapet is a busy place, and being right on the road means we see a lot of different faces every single day. Some people are just passing through the market and decide to stop in because they saw the sign. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no fancy music playing or anything like that. Just a place to get your skin looked at. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if it’s really pouring, but we just put a mat down. It’s a job like any other, really. We open up early, see who comes in, and head home when the sun goes down. It's just how the Skin & Std Clinic works.
