Sk Bricks

Finding us on Ramanathan Street in T. Nagar can be a bit of a trick because the traffic around here is always so thick. We are tucked in at No. 5 and there is usually a truck or two blocking the way while we load up. Sk Bricks is a straightforward operation. We deal with bricks and basic building supplies that people need for their homes or for local repairs. There is always a stack of red bricks somewhere in the yard and someone is always counting them out for a delivery. T. Nagar is such a busy area that we have to be quick about getting things moved or the neighbors start to complain about the noise. We have been working from this spot for a good bit of time and most of the local contractors know to just stop by when they need a load sent over. The office is small and usually has a thin layer of red dust on everything, no matter how much we clean it. It’s just the nature of the business when you’re moving thousands of bricks every week. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a phone that rings and a ledger where we write down the orders. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expect and have to tell people to wait a day.
