Sixth Sense Studio

You can find us at No 411/A in the Sivalia building. We are located on Commander In Chief Road, which is right near Sangeetha’s Hotel in Egmore. Being so close to the hotel is great because we end up going there for tiffin or coffee almost every single day. Sixth Sense Studio is a place where we do a lot of our creative work, so the rooms are often filled with props, lights, and random pieces of fabric. It is not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. The Sivalia building is an older one, so it has a bit of character that you don't find in the new glass towers. Commander In Chief Road is always busy with traffic, but once you step inside No 411/A, it gets much quieter. We have some heavy curtains to block out the sun and the street noise when we are working. It is just a few of us here, and we don't really follow a strict schedule or wear uniforms. If the work is there, we stay late until it is finished. Sometimes we sit on the floor if we need more space to spread things out. Egmore is a central spot, so it is easy for people to drop by, though the traffic near the hotel can be a bit of a mess. We like the vibe of this area. It feels real and grounded, which is how we try to keep the studio as well.
