Precision Controls

Operating out of SIDCO Ambattur at No. 20 is pretty much what you would expect for an industrial area. It is busy, dusty, and there is always a truck blocking the way somewhere. Precision Controls has been here for a good bit of time now. We handle control panels and all the electrical bits that make big factory machines actually do what they are supposed to do. It is mostly just a few of us in the workshop. We have benches covered in wires, pliers, and those little plastic tags everyone uses. Some days we are out at a site fixing a panel that gave up the ghost, and other days we are just sitting here at the bench wiring things up. It is focused work. You can’t really let your mind wander when you are dealing with live circuits and complex diagrams. I like the logic of it, though. Everything has a place and a reason. Ambattur is a good spot for us because so many other factories are right around the corner. If someone has a breakdown, we can usually get over there pretty quick. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a coffee machine that barely works. We do not need much more than that. We just focus on getting the controls right so the production lines do not stop. It is honest work and keeps us occupied from morning until evening every day of the week.
